Q: I heard your band has a song on the Herbie soundtrack. Is that true?

A: Yea, it's called "Welcome to my World", and was written specifically for the movie.  Its available on itunes.

 

Q: I was wondering  what's you favorite style of music, and how do you go about writing songs... music first, or lyrics?

A: My favorite type of music is blues, but as far as my sound is concerned it’s a mix of a lot of stuff. When I write it all comes together at the same time, words and music.

Q: On your songs, do you write your own music, or do you have professional writers help you out?

A: I write all my own stuff right now, but I'm not opposed to doing other peoples stuff.  In fact, the “American Dragon” theme song that we performed was written by someone else.

 

Q: I know you write your own music. I was wondering, where do you get your inspiration?

A: That's a good question, it doesn't come from one source or a group of sources. Nor do I have any control over when it will be there. It's just something that happens all of the sudden, and the next thing I know the song is finished before I even realize that I have just been inspired.
